Ideas will surely enter your mind at all times of the day.
Note any ideas that you pick up in a magazine, or the web, or anywhere else so you may go back and develop it more into your planning.

Out-of-Town Guests

If you are anticipating many out-of-town guests, call at least 2 hotels, one with a more luxurious rating and one more economical, and arrange a special wedding-group rate for all your guests. Your guests will so appreciate the savings in time searching for a place to stay and money!

White Chalk:

Make sure you carry white chalk in your emergency pack on the day-of the wedding. This is great for touching up smudges on dresses, shirts... anything white. And of course, a Tide-to-Go pen is pretty nice to have too!

Wait! Relax a day or two before leaving on your honeymoon.

If you don't, you will miss opportunities to spend time with family and friends and this avoids stressful rushing. Wait at least a day or two so you are leaving for your honeymoon relaxed, calm and excited, rather than rushed and tired. ..................................................................................

Day Weddings can save you $$$$!

Lunches are less expensive and less hearty as dinners and most importantly, you will save tons on your bar bill!
..................................................................................

Toss Bouquet:

If you are planning to keep your bouquet, make sure your florist prepares a smaller version of your bouquet for you to toss.
..................................................................................

Save money on favors and centerpieces by going double duty!

IYour wedding favors may be beautifully arranged on a raised platform in the middle of each table as the centerpiece. Later, the MC or DJ may announce that these are also for your guests to take home.
..................................................................................

Wedding Cake:

Never order a wedding cake to feed 300, if you are 300 people!
Always order HALF the amount. Wedding cakes are always huge leftovers, especially after a huge meal and a sweet table to go with that!

..................................................................................

Manicured Nails - not just for you, but your new hubby too!

Photographers always take pictures of the couple holding or wearing their new wedding bands. You both should have beautiful hands and nails!
..................................................................................

Icebreakers:

There will be tables where people may not know others. Place Trivia cards, or Q&A cards for guests to play, if they want. Great for breaking the ice, having a few laughs and getting to know each other!
